   T he   I  ce is   G  oing   I  n!!!!

So Far, So Good!  Barring any issues, we should start our season Wednesday October 12th.  Hurry Hard Ladies!!!!

For those of you who are just starting to think curling, we are still accepting registrations!  If you want to get a team in, contact myself or Linda Vellinga ASAP.  James Holliger needs to start making up the draws by the end of next week so there’s no time to waste!

Don’t forget that new members save $100 off registration and earn YOU a $50 Finder’s Fee credit!

Of course, associated with getting registered is PAYING YOUR DUES!  Board members will attend the first game for each league to “facilitate” your payments.  After that, you will have to add on a $25 late payment fee.  Also NO PAY – NO POINTS!  As usual, your team can’t earn points toward the Grand Aggregate Championship until all members are paid up.

We will also be accepting registration for our Halloween Spiel during the first week of curling.  October 28th and 29th.  This will be a BarBQ style spiel – 3 end games with the focus on fun!  Prizes for costumes.  Cash for qualifiers.  Entry fee?  $10 for mixed league players, $25 for others.

Saturday night will be our Banner Hoisting and send off party for the Dale Dubinsky Rink who will be representing Northern Ontario at the Dominion Curling Championships – November 21st to 25th – Richmond B.C.  (checkout the details at )

Feel free to post the attached poster in a spot you think it might attract some teams looking for a fun weekend!
