  • Accurate Metering of Components
  • Easy Clean Up
  • Recycling of Waste Water
  • Variable Mixing Ratios from 0% to 10%
  • Versatile

The Taylor #140 PVA Mixer is a high capacity, fully automated Metering, Mixing and Distribution System for Catalyzed (Cross Linking) Polyvinyl Acetate adhesives. It saves labor and material by automatically pumping precisely metered quantities of PVA resin and catalyst from their original containers, mixing them without using any intermediate containers, and conveying the mixed adhesive to up to four (4) independently controlled outlets.

The Taylor #140 PVA Mixer incorporates many features that make the metering, mixing, distribution, and clean up of catalyzed PVA adhesives fast, safe, and cost effective. The Taylor self-priming resin pump and catalyst metering pumps ensure accurate and consistent metering of components. By adjusting the strokes of the catalyst and waste water pumps, catalyst and waste water-to-resin ratios can be adjusted from 0% to 10%.

The unit can be purchased with mixing and waste water recovery capabilities built in, or these features may be added later. Up to four mixed glue outlets can added. Clean up is easy with the quick cleaning Flush Valve which flushes the entire system with fresh water.

Chop Saw Optimization by Cameron Automation

For even closer tolerances the Quick Chop chop saw optimization system offers the option of a lineal encoder for accuracy of plus or minus .010. Wirelessly network with other Quick Chops and the Quick Rip to collectively work on jobs and increase yield. The servo controlled pusher/scanner then scans the board for length and the location of the crayon marks.

Rip Saw Optimization by Cameron Automation

The Quick Rip, the Automated Opti-Rip, and now introducing "The Skew" rip saw optimization systems help to reduce manufacturing costs, reduce labor, and increase production and overall profit. Our research has shown that the maximum yield you can cut from a board increases by an average of 2.5% when you can adjust the angle of the board before it passes into the gang rip saw.

James L. Taylor - Glue Application

The Glue Applicator conveyer is started and stopped automatically via an electric eye either at its infeed end or at its outfeed end. A safety slip clutch protects the conveyor chain against damage when careless operation results in wood jamming the conveyor. The Taylor Conveyorized Glue Applicator with Return Conveyor is an automated glue application and stock handling system.
