After a Busy Fall, InKarma Gets Ready for the Jingle Fete!
Whew! What a busy fall thus far. On September 10, the InKarma ChutneyBus ventured to Niagara for the first time for a fun filled day at the Niagara Fallsview Casino, followed by a wine tasting session at the Magnotta Winery. It was a fun-filled day of excitement both at the casino and on the bus!
And then on October 2, several eager folks braved the cold, rainy day to participate in the CIBC Run for the Cure! This is InKarma’s 9th year in a row that we have participated, all in the effort to raise awareness and funds to support Breast Cancer research.
And finally, on October 11, InKarma held its first ever volunteer event with Big Brothers & Big Sisters as we hosted a Bowling night for some of their kids. The kids had a terrific time. InKarma is eager to host one of these events again in the near future.
And next up, it’s the eagerly anticipated InKarma Jingle Fete! The holidays are around the corner where you’ll have plenty of good times enjoying fun, food and family. So why not fete as well? Start off the holiday season with a bang at InKarma’s Annual Jingle Fete! InKarma invites one and all to enjoy the “back home style” fete with friends and family.
So mark your calendars – the date of this eagerly anticipated event is Friday, November 18, 2011, at 7pm at the new and prestigious Pearl Banquet Hall near Dixie & Eglinton in Mississauga. This is a family friendly event so children, parents, grandparents, friends, and anyone who wants to enjoy a nice ol’ time West Indian Christmas party is welcome to join us! Ticket prices are $35 for adults in advance (or $40 at the door), and $15 for children from 4-15. And as usual, all funds go towards children’s charities such as the Peel Children’s Aid Foundation, and The Caribbean Children’s Foundation.
So come on out on November 18….and if you’ve been a nice boy or girl this year, you’ll get to see Soca Santa himself!
