Additional tools to help you maximize your use of IDRISI.

Each purchase of a full license of IDRISI includes 30 days of free technical support.  After this period expires, an annual Technical Support policy must be purchased to make use of technical support.

A vector database development and topological editing software. Accepts input from a variety of sources, including CoGo, GPS and over 500 digitizing tablets. Data developed/edited with CartaLinx is then typically imported into a GIS. Compatible with various GIS software products such as IDRISI, ArcGIS, and MapInfo.

Series of workbooks, developed with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research, exploring GIS techniques in major application areas. Workbook titles include Applications in Forestry, Applications in Coastal Zone Research & Management, GIS and Mountain Environments, and Applications in Hazard Assessment & Management. Each workbook includes a review paper, bibliography and a set of exercises/case study problems for geographically diverse areas.

Co-authored by Timothy Warner and David J. Campagna, and recently published by Geocarto International Centre in Hong Kong, this introductory text provides a hands-on, guided exploration of the fundamental issues in remote sensing and image processing, using the techniques and approaches within the IDRISI Taiga software.
