GLC Millworks maintains its own in-house knife grinding and sharpening faciltity. Our expert grinders can quickly produce knives for new profiles and keep perfectly sharp all of our cataloged knives.

All knive are made on our precision Weinig® profile grinders. The knives are then measured, weighed, and balanced on the cutting heads resulting in a consistent product with a high quality finish.

We can convert your rough or unfinished lumber into surfaced, straight-lined, or S4S flat stock of nearly any width and thickness you need. Our double sided planers use cutting heads with 6 spiraled rows of high-speed carbide knives. GLC Millworks utilizes some of the most modern technology in its custom dimension operation. Finger jointed pine is an ideal material for producing high quality mouldings and many other building components due to its excellent machining and finishing properties. Our state-of-the-art equipment is ideal for producing high quality mouldings in medium to large production runs. These clear defect-free lengths are then glued together with interlocking finger joints. Finger jointed pine is produced by removing defects from lumber.
