Regional meat, poultry and game sourced for
quality, taste and seasonality
We source our meat from RSPCA inspected farms. Produce
is selected for taste based on breed and locality
- we look for the correct marbling and firm creamy
backfat along with high standards of livestock management
from our regional suppliers. Beef is aged to customers'
requirements depending on the cut (longer for hindquarter)
usually for 4 weeks. Our seasonal range will vary
but typically includes Cornish salt marsh lamb, Herefordshire
beef, Gloucester Old Sport rare breed pork, organic
or free-range poultry and local shoot game.
Traceability from farm to fork
Traceability is important, it means the origin of
livestock is known and quality is assured around monitoring
care, feed, tranport and processing. Frowey's traceable
produce is certificated weekly. We are always looking
for local farmers who produce to high standards of
animal welfare and stock quality - if you are one

Frowey homemade sausages
Everyone enjoys our sausages! We make Gloucester
Old Spot, farmhouse, cracked black pepper and tomato
plus others. Our sausages are made with the finest
traceable pork from RSPCA Freedom Foods herds.
We can make gluten free sausages to order - please
give us at least 5 days notice for special orders.
Frowey charcuterie & savouries
Frowey's getting a dab hand at charcuterie. Chorizo's
a favourite but we're alway's trying something new.
We are currently looking for complimentary locally
prepared produce - get in touch if you're a supplier!
Local free range eggs & artisan cheese
Our local free range eggs are produced using traditional
standards and are graded and packed at source. The
large eggs are 'whoppers' and complement any breakfast
tray. We also have a new range of artisan cheeses.
Supplies vary depending on availability so drop by
and give us the cheese taste test!
You collect your order from the farm shop. If you
really can't make it to the shop, we may be able to
deliver if you live nearby. A delivery charge will
be added to the cost of your order and will be agreed
with you in advance.
A special order is subject to agreement by Frowey
and produce availability. Please allow time for sourcing
and preparation in your menu plans when making a request.
