More than Counselling..

Family Services Employee Assistance Programs (FSEAP) provide , and  to employees and their families. FSEAP also offers  to address issues on a larger scale for example work groups, departments or orgainzationaly.  The goal is to promote healthy and productive work environments. All counselling is completely confidential and the cost is covered by employers who have contracts with us to provide employee assistance services.

Each contract is different depending on the employer's choice of services. Employers can choose a few key services or a full compliment.

The Family Services Employee Assistance Programs can help you reduce stress in your life, work on meaningful solutions, solve future problems and communicate better. These programs increase employee and corporate wellness by providing high quality individual and organizational development services.

FSEAP - Kingston offers a range of Trauma Response and Critical Incident Stress Management Services, to help employees learn effective coping skills and build resilience to deal with stressful events. When crisis occurs in the workplace, we work with both individuals and groups to facilitate the healing that is required following these events.


Online Services

My FSEAP Resources is an online health and wellness library that contains articles and self-help resources on subjects such as stress management, balanced work-life, relationship building, and family care topics. Online Tools is a collection of web-based tools and information for personal stress relief.


Counselling Types

Assessments, Interventions, Clinical Counselling and Referral Services for High-Risk Behaviours including: depression; anxiety; anger management; stress management and employee burnout; gambling; alcohol and substance abuse; and dependent or abusive behaviours.


Resource Information

The eldercare component also examines special circumstances that reflect our changing landscape, such as dealing with serious chronic illnesses, care-giving long distance and dealing with cultural expectations. Through integration with our clinical services, Counsellor support and referrals to specialized services as required assists individuals and family members cope with related emotional and family issues.
