Oolong is a traditional Chinese tea somewhere between green and black in oxidation. It brings all the benefits of Green Tea with high concentrations of antioxidants and beneficial polyphenols, and is believed to support the body’s natural process to burn fat and support weight loss.
Bring water to boil and let it stand for three minutes. The water temperature should be between 165-170 degrees. Pour water over tea leaves (about 1 tsp. per 8-12oz.), allowing leaves to unfurl. Since Oolong tea can acquire a bitter taste when too strong, steep for two minutes at most. Remove the leaves from the tea before drinking. This will stop the leaves from steeping, allowing you to use them again.
