Extravert is built to work. By smart design, outstanding workmanship and the use of top-quality components we’ve ensured that it does. The same features make Extravert work make it easy to maintain and repair. Bearings are lifetime-lubed and triple-sealed. Hydraulic hoses and fittings are SAE (O-ring) or JIC (37 degree flare) – no leaks, easily assembled & disassembled. Input shafts are easily removed – thanks to our designers’ insistence on the use of split bearing housings. Gearbox, shafts and sprockets are splined for easy disassembly. The end gate can be removed or installed in minutes. The push-off cylinder is installed above the floor, where it can be cleaned, inspected, and if necessary, easily removed. Rubber seals at the end gate and push-gate are easily adjusted to maintain a snug fit.

When repairs are needed, it’s nice to know that Hagedorn keeps a huge stock of backup parts and can deliver to most Canadian and U.S. addresses in one or two days. In an emergency, many parts (bearings, chains & sprockets, hydraulic parts) are available from local sources. Our parts books include a cross-reference to industry part numbers.
