energySnap is a patented system that was developed to make the installation of a radiant heat barrier quick and safe. It uses a pole applicator to keep from having to crawl in the tight areas of a truss system. The product is manufactured in two sizes to accomodate trusses built either on 16 or 24 inch centers.

energySnap uses a two sided aluminum radiant barrier that is reinforced with the addition of our Spring Steel Snap for durability and easy installation. It contains small perforations in the material to prevent the buildup of humidity in the attic and the rest of the structure.

The Spring Steel Snaps are built into the material to provide a more secure attachment than conventional methods. The product will not droop with time or pull out as a stapled system does. Wind blowing through the attic eves will not hurt this product as it only causes the retaining rods to grip deeper into the wooden truss.

The concave shape of the product after installation keeps the buildup of dust to a minimum. Radiant barrier that is blown or rolled over the top of existing insulation collects dust and over time this will dramatically reduce the energy efficiency of the product. energySnap retains its energy effeciency throughout its' life.
