The foundation of an effective intervention plan is assessment. Our assessment process includes standardized diagnostic tools, as well as a broad, interdisciplinary assessment. Findings about strengths, deficits, interests and contexts form the starting point for a cohesive sequence of practical, actionable goals as laid out in the therapy plan.
The diagnostic assessment typically includes the administration of various standardized measures of cognitive skills, adaptive functioning, and autistic symptomatology.
The interdisciplinary assessment process includes input from other major professional disciplines, including Speech and Language Pathology and Occupational Therapy, and Behaviour Analysis.
