Kid’s Party — DIY Party Designs

At a recent {Real Party} with a popsicle theme, you saw these delicious krispie treat popsicles. Now, I’ll show you how easy it is for you to make for your popsicle party!

Start with your traditional Krispie treat recipe. As it becomes ready, separate the mix into little mounds on a cookie sheet. With buttered hands, begin shaping the treats into a popsicle shape.

Add in a popsicle stick. ** Hint ** the popsicle sticks I used, ended up being too thin. Use a traditional popsicle stick or even use a tongue depressor stick.

Then melt chocolate wafers. I found it easiest to brush the chocolate onto the krispie treats.

I liked to leave a bit of krispie treat showing at the bottom like a dipped popsicle. I had some extra white chocolate left from another project, so I added a little white curve on the top edge, to give a little dimension to the popsicle pops.

The kids had a great time devouring these treats at their popsicle themed birthday party!

Christmas — DIY Party Designs

I never have a great deal of time to do Christmas baking each year – I love holiday treats so easy that even my 9 year old daughter can make it. To change it up a bit, place a rolo caramel on the pretzels and place half a pecan into the top when you remove it from the oven. Start by arranging all your pretzels on a cookie sheet. Hershey Kisses ® – I used the Candy Cane ones. Candy for top – M&Ms, Smarties, Candy Corn.

Not only does the signage help provide some information for your guests when you can’t be available to answer their basic questions, but it helps keep the feeling of unity in your design elements. I love using signage at a party to give instructions or provide information (such as what wines are available). Invitation design to create their signage and then placed them in a frame. For a summer this past summer.

So if you are scrambling for a last minute Valentine treat, then download and punch out these labels and attach to the bottom of some HersheyTM Kisses. Put some in a lunch box, in coat pockets and desk drawers of your beloved.

Wedding — DIY Party Designs

With a chic coral and blue color scheme, we wanted stationery for the reception that was crisp, clean and yet still reflected their love of travel. Crystal and I worked to design menu cards that served also as placecards…resembling a famous travel guide design in their colors of blue and coral. As guests departed for the evening, they were each given a cloth favor bag which had a bottle of water and cookie included for their travel home.

I’m delighted to share photos of the Penguin Popsicle party using the Popsicle Frenzy party printables for a girl’s 8th birthday party sleepover. As the girls tucked in for the night to watch a movie – they enjoyed popcorn and a mini candy bar for their late night snack. Water bottle labels were used to dress up the bottles. Watch for a tutorial soon this fun party snack. Aren’t these Chubby Pop bottles the cutest.
