The 2009 edition of the Calgary Reggae Festival (Calgary ReggaeFest) happens tomorrow (Saturday), August 15 at Shaw Millennium Park (1220 – 9 Avenue SW Calgary, Alberta). It will run from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm (Gates close at 9:30 pm).

The show’s line up includes Beres Hammond, Culture Brown, Culture featuring Kenyatta Hill, Friendlyness and the Human Rights, Greg Crowe & The Scarlet Union, Tasha T, Lenya Wilks and others.

This music video release marks the first of 2010 for Reese, but not the last, as he is already in the works to prepare for his next single, which will also be directed by Magelantic Studios (responsible for Reese Badda’s “Tear Drops” and “” music videos). The music video details the all too familiar scenario of love vs. lust and temptation faced by many young adults caught up in the nightlife.

An event over 35 years in the making was realized in Toronto, Canada where The Heptones united for an evening called ‘The Heptones Reunion,’ on Saturday, January 15, 2011. The Heptones baptized Toronto with their trip down memory lane” said Natasha Von Castle.
