Integration of Quality Assurance best practices is the key to Project Management success. The scope of a project or boundaries and deliverables must be established to ensure that expectations are understood and achievable. Activities and schedules must be defined with key milestone dates and specific deliverables. Resources, duration and dependencies need to be accounted for; thereby creating a road map and a means of communication that is tangible and measurable.

Testing, Verification and Validation are activities that are essential to Quality Control. Standards, Methods and Procedures achieve consistency, integrity and create a repeatable and measurable process. All of these activities, incorporated within key phases, build Quality into the end product.

Planning, including, staff acquisition and resource management, training and documentation are all essential towards achieving knowledge transfer to resident management, thus ensuring continuity of best practices.
