Core Hockey fall and winter programs wants to maximize the players time "doing" rather then "standing".

This is what we will stand by for each session:

  • Will be a professional and a "teaching" environment for the players
  • Core Hockey will use proper progression to teach the Core skills, puckhandling, passing and shooting.
  • If the players skill allows us, we will integrate multiple skills being done at game speed.
  • Core Hockey will practice the skills in small groups. Depending on a number of factors, the players maybe split into 2 to 3 smaller groups. These groups may consist of 4 to 9 players per one coach.
  • Provide a positive learning experience to all players through a passionate teaching experience.

Core Hockey will be providing 1 on 1 training sessions starting August 1st, 2011.

  • The sessions will be 30 minutes in length
  • We will focus on Puckhandling - stationary, movement, lateral, multi tasking,  and strength!
  • We will focus on Shooting - wrist shot, back hand, snap shot, slap shot, flip (in tight) shot
