The Continuity Guide will provide a one hour free consultation for a prospective client who would like to find out more about the business continuity process, our company, what services we can provide, and how we may be able to assist the client’s organization with their business continuity needs. This initial consultation is a ‘two way street’. In addition to providing a prospective client with an opportunity to gain a better understanding of business continuity and The Continuity Guide, it provides The Continuity Guide with an opportunity to get to know the prospective client regarding their organization, what they are looking for with respect to the business continuity process, and how we may best work together to achieve the results the client anticipates.

Business Continuity Management Program Terms of Reference

The Continuity Guide will work with clients to develop a comprehensive Business Continuity Management Program Terms of Reference tailored to the client’s organization and business continuity needs. The Terms of Reference would include elements such as scope, complexity and structure of the Program, the projected timelines for Business Continuity Plan development, responsibilities and expectations of the client and The Continuity Guide with respect to Program development and Planning activities.

Business Continuity Policy Development

A Business Continuity Management Program needs to be anchored in corporate policy sanctioned by the senior management of the organization. The Continuity Guide will assist clients in the development of a Corporate Business Continuity Management Policy that is tailored to the organizations size, complexity and business continuity needs and desires.

Business Continuity Management Program Development

The Continuity Guide will work with clients in the development of a comprehensive Business Continuity Management Program that is reflective of the client’s agreed upon business continuity needs and desires. The Program would be based on internationally recognized and accepted business continuity best practices and applicable industry standards.

Business Continuity Planning

The Continuity Guide will provide a client with the tools, guidance and support necessary for the development of a Business Continuity Plan that is specific the client’s organization, vulnerabilities and business continuity needs.

Ongoing Support

Should a client so desire, once their initial Business Continuity Management Program and Business Continuity Plans have been developed, The Continuity Guide will commit to be available to provide ongoing support with respect to updating, maintaining and exercising the Program and Plan.

Business Continuity Awareness and Familiarization Sessions

The Continuity Guide can provide in-house business continuity awareness and familiarization sessions for clients that will support the organization and staff to proceed with their own internal development of a Business Continuity Management Program and Business Continuity Planning process should that be the desire of the organization.

Presentations, Seminars and Workshops

The Continuity Guide can deliver Business Continuity presentations, workshops and seminars to organizations or groups of organizations such as business associations, chambers of commerce, institutional associations etc, that will provide an overview of the business continuity process and suggestions on how attendees might proceed with implementing business continuity awareness / practices / programs within their respective organizations.
