Reach New Heights.
Today, many law firms realize the cost and time savings associated with electronically producing e-mails in the discovery process, but also the liability of producing e-mail to paper. During e-mail paper production, many programs such as Outlook allow the user to modify original e-mails by adding text, recipients and attachments.
Also, conflicts often occur between the application and the printer. Application conflicts are common and affect virtually every known e-mail program. These conflicts keep critical data such as attachments, underlined text, and multiple pages of an e-mail from being printed. Our process produces the e-mail programmatically—not allowing any missing or manipulated data to ensure your discovery production process withstands close scrutiny from opposing counsel.
Currently, we process up to fifteen different e-mail platforms including Microsoft and Lotus Notes, and we set the program to eliminate duplicates from the collection. We can work with virtually any media type available today, including ZIP disks, CDs, hard disks, DDS3 tapes, DLT tapes, AIT tapes, just to name a few. Upon request the data can be reviewed securely via the Internet.
At The Common Source, you have several production options through Electronic Data Discovery including what time-period you would like files from, and what type of database you want (one with e-mails only or e-mails, journal entries, contacts, tasks completed, etc. combined).
