The Company’s current product line includes:
- Linear Power Module (LPM) - Electronic Climate Control (ECC) for Truck and Car Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) Systems
- Actuators - Electronic control for HVAC ventilators
- Temperature Power Modules - Manual Climate Controller for Truck and Car Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) Systems
The Company has designed and developed these electronic modules as a replacement for manual temperature controls used in cars and trucks. Competitors in this space sell old technology solutions for between US $12.00 and US $16.00 each, while CGI’s price point averages less than US $9.00, depending on the model. CGI’s first full production of the LPM was July 2002.
The Company believes that the market is moving rapidly towards LPMs, and penetration rates are currently less than 25% in North America, and lower in the European market. The combination of design, quality, IP, price point and MBE certification positions the Company as a viable contender in the North American market for automotive electronics.
