TV White Space for Rural Broadband

Carlson has partnered with software engineers at Neul to develop a next-generation radio that will be even faster and more affordable, giving broadband users access to more than 200 MHz of high-quality white-space radio spectrum. Carlson has teamed up with database provider Telcordia to offer live demos at events around the country, to show how TV white-space equipment interacts with spectrum databases for interference-free operation.

If you need to backhaul a large IP network, high-definition surveillence or other video, or if your application simply demands the highest speed and throughput, the ST can transmit at a rate of up to 270 MB/s over-the-air. While other companies claim their IP radios can go the distance, only the LongHaul™ TDM uses Carlson's proprietary TrueTDM™ technology for wireline-quality signals at distances IP radios can't reach—more than 60 miles.
