Group Therapy consists of two or more members facilitated by a counsellor(s) and focused on a specific issue. For example, anger management, abusive relationships, communication issues, social anxiety, stress management, claiming your authority. This forum is available if working one-on-one with a therapist is insufficient to fully address your issues. In group therapy, some individuals find the familiarity and support which enables them to open up to their own experiences and challenges. Among other things, our unconscious habits can be dissected, explored and facilitated with peers, in a group setting.
