Located at the heart of the Beverley/Abbotsfield area (3805 118 ave.), the RW.Tegler Youth Centre (TYC) serves as a safe and fun place for youth to hang out, be challenged, and grow as individuals. Consisting of a climbing wall, skatepark, rec area (pool table and video games) and a media arts centre, the TYC offers many engaging opportunities to try new things and succeed.

A core focus of what we do here is to build supportive relationships with the youth of our community and city as a whole. We believe that Jesus Christ is a life changing force in each or our lives that we want to share with these kids.

In order to insure the safety of our youth, we require that all those that attend our facility have a completed waiver. The waiver can be completed at the RW Tegler, or downloaded below. This waiver must be filled out by a legal guardian.

Climbing wall

The RW Tegler is equipped with a fun and challenging indoor climbing wall. The wall provides the opportunity for the kids and youth of the center to try and succeed at new things. Not only does the wall provide the means to individual success, but also helps to create a team environment as they support one another through the challenge of the wall. Climbing also is a great exercise, the kids are active in a new and fun way, which is of great benefit to their health.

The Tegler Youth Centre houses Edmonton’s largest indoor Skateboard park. Weather you are just starting or if you’re a master, you’ll sure have a good time at the Tegler skate park. The Tegler skate park is reserved for those under the age of 18 years.

Rec Area.

We have a massive rec. area consisting of a pool table, video games, air hockey, skate videos, and carpet ball. This is a casual place for youth to hang out with their friends,  and meet some new ones. On any given night you can expect loud music, intense gaming and hip hop freestyle sessions!

Media Arts Centre

The RW. Tegler encourages creativity by providing opportunities for youth to work with relevant technology, on creative projects. These projects often consist of: video’s, photography, and recording music (Hip Hop).
