June 27th- July 11th 2012

Beautiful Silks announce a Southern Hemisphere follow-up to both ISEND2011 [to be held in France in April this year] and the UNESCO Natural Dye conference in Hyderabad 2006.

A meeting of artisans from far and near, a celebration of the natural world, here in the concrete jungle of Fitzroy.

Look forward to exhibitions and seminars, museum visits, a range of workshops and tours of natural places in the city.

This is a very amateurish photo of Hannah, the photographer who does not like herself to be photographed, taken at a random moment in the office by the elephant on his new mobile phone/camera. Includes 10 minute Client Consultation, Studio Lighting Set Up, Photographic Shoot, Final Edit and Formatting of Two images. All photographs will be taken in the brand new photo studio at the Beautiful Silks premises.
