Diane’s Marine Interiors provides custom boat upholstery, drapery, and bedding.

The Process

To start the process an on-board consultation is required.  From this we can measure for yardage needed.  Then we choose fabrics, order them, then get to work.  The amount of time varies greatly depending on the size of job.

A marine interior can be transformed from boring to fabulous with the right choice of fabrics and colors. We have thousands of fabric samples to choose from. J. Ennis and Joanne Fabrics are our primary suppliers. We use top quality, high density foam.

Fabrics I use are leather, Ultraleather, Ultrasuede, Sunbrella and marine grade vinyls. A host of other wonderful fabrics are also available. I always use stainless steel fasteners, staples, screws and snaps. I use #5 zippers, which are far stronger the the standard #4. The foam I use is 1.8 to 2.2 pound in varying densities depending on its placement. I can pipe, leave plain or top-stitch your cushion, even add buttons if you so choose. They can be attached with Velcro or snaps if need be.

We work on any type of boat; power, sail, and commercial. The brand doesn’t matter either. We’ve done work on Bavaria, Hans Christian, West Bay, Chris Craft, Grand Banks, Beneteau and so many more. The work is 100% custom, so the shape, size, and power source don’t matter one bit!
