Camosun College offers many RSS feeds that are constantly updated with latest news. Using the RSS reader of your choice, you can access updated Camosun College content in a way that you decide is right for you.
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication and is an easy way to help save time on the Intertubes.
When you subscribe to an RSS feed on a website, blog or a
webpage, every time something new is put on that page you’re alerted.
Let’s get started!
Step 1: Sign up for or download an RSS reader.
You need to have a home where you can read the new posts— your RSS reader. Several different online readers are available for free:
Manually adding an RSS feed to Outlook 2007
- Copy the URL of the RSS feed.
- In the New RSS Feed dialog box, type or press Ctrl+V to paste the URL of the RSS Feed. For example, http://webservices.camosun.bc.ca/cms/ss-rss.xml.
That’s it…you’re all set up to start receiving new posts
as soon as we upload them. It’s that simple!
