"The soles is flexible and allows my foot to move the way it's designed to," said Swartz, who recommends the shoes for both running and lifting weights. "It keeps your feet super close to the ground. They force you to run correctly – it's impossible to run with a heavy heel strike in them."
On top of this, Swartz said that switching from regular running shoes to Vivobarefoot shoes has improved his calf flexibility.
"They're the best," he said, as he laced up his new pair of Vivos.
