This series of resources supports students in thinking critically about the operations and policies of various levels of government. Students learn about civics in an engaging and meaningful way as they assume the roles of historical and contemporary political leaders in negotiating solutions and enacting legislation. The activities are complemented by extensive blackline masters and assessment rubrics.
This series of resources addresses th "tools" required to think critically about the study of various subject matter. Each title focuses on a different set of concepts and strategies of historical thinking and suggests ways of introducing them and integrating them across historical topics.
