Softlanding utilizes the five-phase Microsoft Solutions Framework for project delivery. To ensure the highest level of accountability we appoint a project manager, subject matter experts and technical support specialists to work with your internal stakeholders and IT staff throughout the course of the project.

Project Delivery Phases

 ¡   Envisioning: is about creating a business vision and defining the scope of work necessary to bring the vision to reality.   Activities for this phase include: Requirements Definition; Infrastructure Discovery; Solution Concept; Solution Design Strategy; Risk Identification; Resource Plan; Schedule

¡   Planning: continues until we have detailed functional requirements, system and application architectures, the user interface prototype, and a detailed project plan for the remainder of the project. Activities for this phase include: Intranet Design; Extranet Design; Infrastructure Design; Monitoring and Site Reporting Design; HW, SW, Licenses Acquisition; Development Environment Setup; Test Plan; Training Plan; Governance Plan

¡   Development:   begins with the first iteration of development and culminates with a functionality complete milestone (or Beta release).  Activities for this phase include: Iterative Development Cycles (Functions / Features); Support Materials; Training Materials; Governance Model and Processes

¡   Stabilization:  represents testing and acceptance. Activities for this phase include: Site Migrations (Development to Test); Test Execution and Result Documents; Issue Remediation; Regression Testing

¡   Deployment : includes final development, release management, and deployment. Activities for this phase include: Deployment Planning; Setup Production Environment; Site Migrations (Test to Production); Monitoring and Site Reporting Configuration; Support Documents; Training Documents; Governance Documents; and Training.
