Fresh back from Hawaii.  Still feeling a little hazy and hungover from a week of sun, cocktails and crazy fun with my girlfriends. Planned on waiting ’til tomorrow to start posting, but this one couldn’t wait…

Just saw the signs for nood on the former Liberty store in the Power Centre on the corner of 200th and the Bypass!!  Sources tell me they should be open for business by the end of the month!

Nood (stands for new objects of desire), is a Modern, lifestyle store filled with Modern furniture, kitchen, bath and home decor items, bedding, towels, comfy homewear and fun gifts & gadgets.  All nood products are designed to be stylish and contemporary, yet casual and comfortable, with a mix of funky, retro-chic.  They exude quiet elegance, through simple styles, quality fabric and product construction, with pops of ultra-modern pieces to add a little edge.

Bub and I have alot of nood stuff (the wild fig & apple aroma reeds are a fave) and their t-shirts are a wardrobe staple (super comfy and they don’t lose their shape when you wash them.) I’m stoked that we no longer have to drive to Gastown or North Van to get their stuff!

Nood quickly became one of my favourite shopping hot spots and now that they’re joining our Urban Suburban lifestyle out here in Langley, I’m pretty sure you’re gonna love ’em too!

If you’re a fan, be sure to get a noodist membership  to score 20% on all regular-priced merchandise. For more information about Contemporary Furniture visit
