1. Deep (<1%) dimming

Addresses the challenges of Triac control for LEDs – typically limited to 10% Provides true, flicker-free dimming to under 1% with conventional dimmers that are not compatible with other LED drivers.

2. Auto-sense dimmer control

Automatically detects the dimmer type – will work with leading edge, trailing edge, and 0-10V control. This reduces inventory and  production challenges associated with having to support a unique driver for each control type. This also eliminates compatibility problems in the field.

3. No dead-zones

Many LED products controlled by Triac suffer from dead zones – the lower and sometimes upper range of the dimmer travel where there
isn’t a corresponding change in light output. LBTs drivers calibrate to the dimmer to provide the full range of control. All the dimmers in our
supported list, when used with LBT drivers, have no dead zones.

4. Smooth dimming curve

LBT’s technology eliminates the gaps, jumps and sections of inconsistency that are typical with controlling LED products with Triac controls, thereby providing a smooth, uniform response one would normally only expect when controlling incandescent lighting.

5. Avoids costly re-wiring

The biggest limitation facing retrofits is that Triac controls have only two wires. Trailing-edge or 0-10V dimmers require extra wiring which
poses significant challenges for retrofitting a Triac installation.
