1 Million by Paco Rabanne is a best-selling oriental spicy fragrance launched in 2008 that lasts 10+ hours. The bottle represents one of the best parts of this fragrance, since it resembles a gold ingot. This might also be one of the reasons 1 Million is selling so well.
The top notes include grapefruit, mint and blood orange, while the middle is made from rose, cinnamon, spice notes and blond leather. The base is a blend of white woods, amber and patchouli.
This cologne features a very nice, refreshing fruity opening that lasts for 10 to 20 minutes, but this is very misleading. The blood orange, grapefruit and the mint give the cologne a metallic zing. In the middle, the scent is creamier and has a leathery smell. The cinnamon comes into play and augments the spiciness. After the initial fresh opening, the scent becomes quite sweet and unconventional, because of the amber. Fortunately, this is not a run-of-the-mill fragrance, being able to stand out. It is very masculine, despite the feminine touch that may be noticed sometimes. The base has a coconut creamy base.
1 Million is very nice and has great longevity, so overall it’s a very good bang for buck. It’s definitely worth checking it out!
