Vancouver Olympic / Paralympic Centre « Hughes Condon Marler Architects – HCMA

Now that the games are over, legacy conversion of the Vancouver Olympic / Paralympic Centre has begun. In Olympic mode, the curling venue provided a four-sheet competition surface surrounded by 6,000 temporary seats. The reconfiguration will comprise a community centre, an ice rink, an eight-sheet curling club and a branch library. The Aquatic Centre portion of the facility is now open to the public.

The project anticipates LEED® Gold certification.
