Karl Kotab, freelance photographer, with his "Three Baby Owls," This Spring 2010, Karl had a solo exhibition at Ocean Park Library and I was honored to write his Biography. He really liked the writing I did about him and you can read it also under "Sample Biography."

Many galleries, art centres, art councils and artist run centres will expect you to have a Biography when you are Proposing a solo exhibition. The Biography goes along with your Curriculum Vitae, your Artist Statement and Proposal. It will give the curator an accurate description of your creativity!

Please send your full name, date and place of birth,

your solo and group exhibitions,

your artistic education,

any awards,

reviews from newspapers, magazines or television and any reviews or interviews on line,

when you began to paint,

what influences your art works; for example do you have favourite artists that inspire you,

how would you describe your method of painting; for example is it expressive, conceptual, visualization; what do you to in preparation for your creations?

ten to twenty images of recent art works,

and if you have collectors; people who have purchased your art works, then please send me the countries or provinces (states) where they live.

You may edit more than once and this extends the completion time! However, it is most important to me that you are pleased with the results so I am happy offer you up to four edits. I am absolutely confident that you will be delighted with your professional Biography!

Allow up to six days for completion or three weeks with more editing - up to 350 words
