Product and Tooling Design
We utilize the latest version of SolidWorks 3D modeling software for product and tooling design. This allows us to rapidly create virtual parts and assemblies, check for dimensional accuracy, perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and easily make revisions before any physical tooling or prototype is ever created.
We can also have existing parts of complex geometry digitized out of house. This is an automated process which creates a virtual part based on thousands of data points measured from the existing part without sacrificing it. The virtual part can then be manipulated to suit the customer's requirements.
Once a virtual part is created, virtual tooling is automatically created and linked to this part. This drastically reduces the time spent on tooling design. If any changes are made to the part, the tooling is automatically updated which eliminates manual revision of the tooling along with any chance of error.
Prototypes and tooling can then be CNC cut directly from the virtual models to ensure accuracy of the final product. Rapid prototyping using the virtual models and a 3D printer can also be preformed out of house to test fit prototype parts before doing a production run.
