Teck Trail Operations employees and contractor employees, for the first time in history, have achieved the outstanding safety milestone of working one million hours without a lost-time injury. This record was attained during the period of June 26 through October 16, 2011.

“I attribute this record to the commitment of our employees, the United Steelworkers Locals 480 and 9705 and our contract companies and their employees to continuously improve safety performance,” said Greg Belland, General Manager, Teck Trail Operations.
