Following surgery the goal of therapy is to optimize your healing and realize the full potential of your surgical procedure. Treatment will focus on restoring range of motion, re-activating specific musculature with neuromuscular stimulation and surgical-specific exercises, and decreasing your pain with electrotherapy or other modalities. Surgeries that benefit from post-surgical rehab include:
