Picture yourself in an National geographic documentary, you look to your left and there are Bald Eagles feeding on a dead salmon carcass. You now look forward into the river and the river is so full of salmon it appears that you could walk across them. This is what the Salmon runs are like in the Pemberton and surrounding areas. Now put a fishing rod in your hands and feel the burn of a 40lb chinook salmon as it screams line off of your reel. In the Pemberton area we get most of the salmon runs including: sockeye, chinook, coho, pink and chum salmon. The only salmon that we don't have are Atlantic salmon. Salmon are in the streams from May through December. Tight lines!
