Raw meaty bones benefit dogs and cats in several ways. Chewing on a raw bone helps keep the teeth clean and healthy, and provides hours of chewing pleasure and stimulation. We recommend that you include raw meaty bones as a regular part of your dog’s diet.

IMPORTANT! While for some dogs chewing bones is second nature, it is always best to be cautious. Please don’t leave your dog unattended with a bone. Know your dog’s eating habits (do they chew the bones carefully or try to gulp it all in one fell swoop) and get bones that are appropriate to their size (don’t get a golf-ball size bone for a Great Dane as there is a good chance they might swallow it whole).

Whole Cornish Hen and Herring

Larger dogs can indulge in this special pleasure; eating a whole bird. It provides them with a complete meal. Feel free to stuff a bit of vegetables into the hen to balance out the meal.

Wolves have often resorted to hunting for fish in local streams when other prey was unavailable. While fish should not be fed too frequently, some dogs definitely enjoy the treat!

Non-Medicated Meaty Beef Bones

Non-medicated beef bones are available in large and small sizes, and contain enough meat to serve as a meal.

Please make sure that your cat is getting sufficient calcium from alternating meals with bones or calcium supplements. Refrigerate anything your cat doesn’t eat after 15 minutes for the next meal. Thaw package in refrigerator, cut open bag, put in bowl and serve.
