PR Aqua - UV Treatment

Ultraviolet disinfection works by producing electromagnetic energy from a mercury arc lamp and penetrating the cell wall of the pathogen damaging the genetic material of an organism (RNA and DNA) and destroying the ability to reproduce. UV inactivates almost all organisms that are a threat to fish including IHN, whirling disease, frunculosis, and hundreds of other viruses, bacteria and parasites.

PR Aqua - Microscreen Drum Filters

We manufacture two basic types of drum filters, the RFM model which has the steel drum enclosed in a fiberglass box or the RF model which is the frame model which is not housed but is mounted on a steel frame and is generally installed in a wet sump. Microstraining or screening is a cost-effective method of removing particulate matter from a liquid and is ideal for treating fish hatchery water.

PR Aqua - CO2 Removal / Aeration

Too much CO2 in your culture water interferes with the fish's ability to take up oxygen, even if oxygen levels in your system are adequate. You can achieve carbon dioxide removal and aeration of the water at the same time using PR Aqua’s forced-air carbon dioxide stripper. Removal of excess CO2 is absolutely critical - especially in reuse and recirculating aquaculture systems.
