Reduce your taxable income with your incurred health and dental expenses.

Many self-employed individuals/businesses currently do not have any programs in place for health and dental expenses. A Personal Health Savings Plan (PHSP) can provide the structure to have health and dental expenses paid from on a more tax efficient basis without having to qualify for a traditional benefit program or having to pay monthly premiums.

As an example; a medical and/or dental expense in BC of $1,000 could be paid through a Persona Health Savings Plan (PHSP) at a total cost of $1,112 pre-tax dollars as opposed to having to earn $1,675 to net $1,000 to pay the expense (assuming a 40% tax bracket). Taxable income is then reduced by $1,112.
