As a Yin Yoga instructor, I provide classes in a form of yoga that promotes greater flexibility, is adaptable to any body type and ability, and helps to balance out yang-style yoga practices as well as sports activities. Yin is essential for maintaining full range of motion and preventing injuries. It can be done by people with disabilities, fibromyalgia, arthritis, and other conditions that make yang-style yoga more challenging. Many have found that pain is reduced by doing Yin yoga, and they are then able to go on and do more rigorous forms of yoga.
