When NavStar began working on deformation monitoring projects, we used GNSS equipment from several other manufacturers. While we are still quite happy to use competing products when they are the right tool for the job, we were never able to find a GNSS receiver that was just right for automated monitoring. The solution was to start our own line of GNSS equipment. The design of these high quality receivers is based on our many years of experience as GNSS users.


The GMS202 is a dual frequency ethernet enabled GPS receiver that forms the backbone of any monitoring system. This device is typically used as a basestation and will be installed at strategic locations around a site to provide a constant, stable, reference system.


The GMS301 is our most popular GPS receiver. It is a low cost, single frequency GPS receiver that is capable of very high accuracies when properly implemented. Ultra low power consumption and integrated WiFi make this receiver the GPS unit of choice for most deformation monitoring projects.


The GMS302 is our most versatile GPS receiver. This dual frequency unit integrates high quality L1/L2 GPS measurements with low power consumption (2 watts), WiFi, and rugged construction. When accuracy or long range are key requirements, the GMS302 delivers.
