Employment and Career Planning Services
TQM currently holds two major contracts with the to offer free employment services to unemployed individuals through the (2003 to present), and (2008 to present). These operations currently employ approximately 25 staff to deliver career planning, work search assistance, and job placement incentive services to eligible individuals and employers in the Kamloops area. Don Anderson holds the self-defined title of Project Manager for these services, focusing primarily on human resources and operations management, accounting, and reporting of results to the Ministry. His highly skilled team of Employment Advisors, Job Coaches, Employment Coordinators, and Client Assistance Officers provide direct assistance to individuals and employers.
These agencies will continue to operate until the end of March 2012, at which time a new service provider will be taking over administration of these services. TQM will be moving away from government-funded services but will be offering individual fee-for-service employment and career planning assitance from a new location in the late spring of 2012 for individuals who are seeking an alternative to the services offered under government-funded initiatives.
