The general process of Architrave’s services commence with client consultations leading to an on-site assessment followed by comprehensive sketch plans that, with client approval, evolve into preparation of contract documents, permit application, site visits, management of construction and a final warranty period.

Initial Consultation
This takes place via email, face to face, and always includes a visit to the site. Information & requirements are exchanged such as: property plan, design ideas and budget/timelines. A contract proposal outlining services and scope of work is prepared. This generally follows one or all of the following three steps:

  1. Design
The first step is both a creative process and an evaluation of design ideas. Combining necessary requirements into preliminary design drawings. From this dialogue a concept emerges and evolves into a developed design.
  2. Technical
At this stage production of construction documents begin and ultimately used for the building permit application and tendering process. This includes: detailed assembly drawings, finish specifications, and materials quantity survey.
  3. Construction
A timeline is established and information produced in the Design & Technical stages is used to obtain a building permit, tender project, and for construction.

During the eighteen years the partners have been in operation they have developed a loyal network of tradesmen and craftsmen who can be relied upon to deliver, promptly the requirements of their specifications.

Many large, luxurious homes and very modest, inexpensive homes, additions, modular, and renovations comprise Architrave’s portfolio.
