Both hailing from Scottish small towns in Canada, Brenley MacEachern and Lisa MacIsaac have chosen another musical path; one that channels their parent’s vintage record collection that comprised of the likes of Neil Young and Dolly Parton. The pair have come into a sound of their own though which has been described as both city-folk and Americana. Madison Violet, have toured their alt-country modern-roots sound and flawless harmonies across the world for over 10 years. Wednesday Downtown Socials

Happening this summer in downtown Fernie are the Wednesday Socials. A fun evening with a bonus Mountain Market day as well as live music and entertainment and a refreshment garden for the adults. All of this fun takes place on 5th Street in Station Square (across from The Arts Station).

Wednesday Socials are taking place this summer on: September 14 with the Mountain Market starting at 4pm and the music and refreshments running from 5-7pm. So after that bike ride stop by Station Square to buy some veggies, grab dinner at Yama-2-Go, get a cold one and listen to some great music – sounds perfect to me!

Music Acts:
