GPR Scanning, or Ground Penetrating Radar Scanning, is a cost effective, fast and non-invasive way of safely inspecting for object embedded in concrete. Typical items found embedded in concrete include conduit, rebar, post tension cables and in floor heating. GPR technology works by emitting a radar signal into the concrete, and reflecting back an image to the service unit. Trained technicians are able to interpret the received data and provide the client with a layout that will avoid any hidden conduits of structurally sensitive areas.
