Acupuncture involves the insertion of very fine needles into acupuncture points to promote natural healing, alleviate pain, and normalize functioning.
Vestibular rehabilitation is a specialized physiotherapy treatment program directed towards relieving the symptoms and discomfort of vestibular disorders. Dizziness, vertigo, unsteadiness and balance problems can all be treated through a gentle exercise and treatment program tailored to meet the specific needs of the patient.
Taping and/or bracing an injured joint or muscle can be used to prevent further injury or allow improved function. Physiotherapists will use taping as required to improve healing and functioning.
Kinesiology is the study of human anatomy, physiology and the mechanics of body movement. Our physiotherapists have all obtained Bachelors of Science degrees in Kinesiology prior to studying physiotherapy.
