Merridale’s Pub Draft – a lighter, sweeter version of our traditional cider, but still very dry. House cider is on tap in Vancouver Island’s finest pubs and restaurants.

This is a refreshing blend of apple cider and the unfermented juices of a blend of BC berries and fruits. It’s popular among those who enjoy spritzers or lighter alcoholic beverages.

Full-bodied still cider fermented to dry, then aged in oak to soften the finish. Perfect with pork, chicken, and rabbit. Winner of commendation at 2003 Northwest Cider Competition.

A fresh and velvety sipping drink with an aroma of baked apples and buttery brown sugar. Serve straight in the tradition of port, and pair with cheddar or blue cheese, melons, fruit desserts and dark chocolate.

This is the English version of champagne-style cider, dry and sparkling with balanced acids. Perfect for a special occasion, Somerset is slowly aged for more than a year to become completely dry.

Fortified | Merridale Estate Cidery

In the tradition of Normandy and Bretagne, we start fermenting fresh pressed cider apples in french oak barrels. We add our own cider brandy to stop the fermentatin and preserve the natural sweetness. A delicate balance of apple and brandy with a soft, slightly sweet finish. This is wonderful with soft cheeses.

Spirits | Merridale Estate Cidery

They have to be charcoal filtered to soften the harsh taste, so merridale has decided why not make vodka entirely from fruit, so that it is soft and smooth without a charcoal filter. Most vodkas are made from grain or potato because it is the cheapest way to make alcohol. To make it a little more fun and distinctive, we decided to carbonate it. A full strength vodka made from 100% BC fruits with a fizz.
