Puddle Duck at Randy's Boat Shop - puddle duck

The fiberglass cloth is laid over the hull and trimmed to be at least an inch in excess on all sides. The outside of the canoe has been sanded, sealed and sanded again in preparation for fiberglassing. I used clothespins to hold the fiberglass cloth in place while I apply the epoxy. Canoe at Randy's Boat Shop

The laminated stem will be planned down to be 3/4 inch wide and the inside edge will be rounded over with the router. The first of two inner stems have been glued up out of white oak. The strips of oak were cut 1/8 inch thick. Canoe at Randy's Boat Shop. Once on the frame, battens.
