Share, merge, view and discuss your Building Information Models (BIM) within Asite
Asite's Collaborative Building Information Model (cBIM) Manager brings visibility and control to shared Building Information Models BIM, helping you deliver the true potential of BIM and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD).
For a BIM to be truly successful it needs to include input from all the parties involved in design, and allow all of the stakeholders to interact with it, whilst maintaining version control and updates to the model. Asite cBIM allows you to safely share your part of the overall BIM with your project partners and merge your model into an overall project model, truly creating the Single Building Model, containing input from ALL parties. So rather than you trying to design in isolation, cBIM Manager allows you to see your design in the context of the Overall Model, to ensure it is co-ordinated reducing the risk of on-site problems. cBIM manager also stores all versions of your models allowing you to quickly review how the design has progressed during development and track critical decision making.
Because Asite cBIM Manager can store Industry Foundation Class* (IFC) files, you are not limited by the applications you can use to create models that can be stored in Asite cBIM. Models from leading BIM creation tools such as Autodesk Revit, Bentley Architecture and other BIM, CAD, cost estimation, simulation, scheduling, and analysis software can be used to create and edit models stored with Asite cBIM Manager. cBIM Manager gives you a truly interoperable and collaborative approach to modelling and BIM management helping you take full advantage of the latest BIM tools on the market.
