FlocLogs®

APS 700 Series FlocLog® is a group of soil specific tailored log-block that contains blends of water treatment components and polyacrylamide co-polymers. FlocLogs® are used for water clarification and sediment control.

FlocLogs® provide a convenient method to introduce environmentally safe polymers into continuous or intermittent water flows - such as ditches, inlets, storm drain systems and pump discharges.

Each FlocLog® type is produced to work with specific soil lithologies and/or site water chemistries. There are more than 60 types of specially formulated FlocLogs® created using advanced polymer chemistry and designed to work with specific soil and water conditions.

W.E. Gowdy will conduct a site-specific analysis to determine which type of FlocLog® will work with the specific soil and water profile at the site where it will be used.

Siltstop® Products

There are two Siltstop® products: Siltstop® Powder and Siltstop® Emulsion.

Siltstop® products aid in:

  • reducing soil movement during rain,
  • bind cationic metals within the soil matrix, reducing solubilization,
  • increase soil permeability (reduce surface run off),
  • reduced pesticide and fertilizer loss,
  • reduced wind borne dust conditions,
  • reduced operational and cleanup costs,
  • reduced environmental risk and improve regulatory compliance.

Siltstop® Powder

APS 700 Series Siltstop® Powder is a group of soil specific tailored polyacrylamide co-polymer powders for erosion control.

Siltstop® Powder reduces and prevents erosion of fine particles and colloidal clays from entering water.

Siltstop® Emulsion

APS 600 Series Siltstop® Emulsion is a group or soil specific tailored polyacrylamide co-polymer emulsions for erosion control.

Siltstop® Emulsions reduce and prevent erosion of fine particles and colloidal clays from entering water.
